Shoaib Sahiby is the Lead Designer and Owner of Afghan Artisan Collection. He grew up in Afghanistan and moved to the United States in 2016. Shoaib is intimately familiar with this time-honored tradition having worked himself knotting rugs as a teenager to help support his family during the 2000s. During this same time-period the U.S. was helping the Afghan people topple the Taliban. For several years prior to relocating to the United States, Shoaib worked for the United States Government as an interpreter. His service helped expedite the relocation of his family to the United States. Shoaib and his wife Shugofa reside in Merriam, KS along with their 2 young children.
Shoaib and Shugofa welcome the opportunity to help you choose a rug that compliments your aesthetic. If you have interior design questions or wish to schedule an appointment, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
